Volunteer Fair 2017

Want to know more about community engagement or would like to know how you can get involved in your community, but don’t know where to start? The Michaëlle Jean Centre for Global and Community Engagement invites you to attend the Volunteer Fair on October 12, 2017 at the Jock Turcot University Centre from 10:00 - 15:00!

Come to the Volunteer Fair to:

  • Learn more about the benefits of volunteering and community service;
  • Meet 31 Community Partners and public institutions offering volunteer placements both locally and internationally;
  • Discover the Centre’s various programs, including its Alternative Student Break, Days of Service and TD Environmental Leaders Program, along with the various community engagement scholarships that are available to help you turn your ideas into action.
  • Register for volunteering opportunities.  Volunteers will be able to help you register tp the placement that interest you (visit Agora or talk to one of our volunteers (Green T-shirt).

You will have the opportunity to speak with the representatives from the various organizations and ask questions about their services and volunteer opportunities. Community partners have volunteer opportunities in many fields. and they came to answer questions you may have.
