Some Community Service Learning (CSL) program or Extracurricular Volunteering (EV) placements require a Police Records Check. The level of verification required, if any, is specified for each placement on the Community Engagement Navigator.
If a placement indicates that a Police Record Check is required, it is your responsibility to obtain one before starting the placement. While Police Record Checks are valid for one full year, some community partners may ask you for a Police Record Check completed within the last 3 to 6 months.
